The Overcash Family {Rowan County Family Lifestyle Photographer}

You know those family photos that come with the new frames you buy?  The Overcash family is that family.  Meredith booked me right before I found out about my ESPN job so I was able to sneak them in when their oldest son, Brock, came into town from college.  I already know Ivy and Marshall and adore them so I was looking forward to meeting Brock and his new girlfriend, Shelby.
We met on a gorgeous, sunny, Sunday afternoon on the golf course and the following shots were captured.  Enjoy the Overcash clan!

See what I mean?  The family that comes with the frame?!!!

Group hug!!!!  How gorgeous is Meredith in the center?

Meredith wanted a shot of her kids together, they all adore each other.

I like this one best…. I just crack up every single time I see Marshall's head locked!

My specialty is single portraits so I had to get a closeup of Miss Ivy with these eyes!
(sidenote: Ivy is one of the reasons I fell in love with teaching middle schoolers)

And Marshall, SO handsome...

And Brock, quite a looker himself….

Ivy asked for a special shot of just she and Brock, she misses her brother so….

I think it's time to introduce Shelby, another stunner of this session.

How cute are they?!!!!….. and you know my love of B&W,

and while we're on the subject of B&W….

I'd frame these side by side, just beautiful!

And let's pay tribute to the two who started this all….. Bryan and Meredith who themselves look like college kids.  If I didn't know them better I would swear they sold their souls for the Fountain of Youth.  Can I hear an Amen?!!!!

I hope you enjoyed the Overcash family!  I love relieving every session when I blog about it.
I think I've made the decision to frame this family for my own home!

Thanks, Meredith, for sharing your family time with me on a weekend that "Brock" time was so limited.  Your family SHINES!
Blessings!

The Dees Family {Rowan County Family Photographer}

Most of you know the sweet Dees family, even the Klutz family, but let me also introduce you to the Thompson's, Zacek's, Gardner's, and Neidlinger's.  This was by far the largest shoot I've ever pulled off.  Thankfully I had very lovely, willing families who gave me beautiful shots.  Meg booked me in summer for the day after Thanksgiving since her extended family would all be in town.  The Thompson Twins (not what you're thinking 80's fans) were a HUGE part of the shoot and are just ADORABLE!  You know how much I love babies and kids, it's why I went into photography to begin with.

Enjoy these sweet shots.

Let's start with the Klutz clan…..a great group shot!

I love me some Dees family!  How gorgeous!  They are all glowing because the twins are in town.

These kids are growing up too fast.

The Dees kids with their cousins, the Harrys.

The Harry kids.  Do we like color or……

…. or B&W?  This shot is pure Zeb!

The Zaceks are so photogenic!

BIG hug!!!!

Stunning eyes.

The Gardner's didn't disappoint.  Beautiful.

I did not pose these kids, they are just naturals!  These eyes!

Cute and candid.

The Neidlinger's.  Sweet!

Three blonde beauties.  Oh my!

Little Nolah's expression is priceless!

I love these sweet expressions too.  And the hair!  Love their hair.

And now for the Thompson's!!!!!  Can you believe Earle just had these twins 4 months ago?!!!!  These babes must be sleeping through the night because Bo and Earle look TOO good to be sleep deprived.

This is my favorite….

OK, don't go any further if you cannot handle the cuteness….

This is Claire...

Such a happy girl…

And this is Millie….

Uh!  I could kiss those chubby cheeks!!!!

It was a frigid cold day so we had to shoot the twins indoors which is challenging with constantly changing light, thank goodness for big windows.

They did so well but babies have a small window for photography before they need another feeding and nap.  This is usually my sign that they have entertained me long enough.

Just yummy!

There are so many more cute shots but this is already the most lengthy blog so I will stop here.  I hope you enjoyed these beautiful families as much as me.  I'm always honored when a family trusts me with their family portraits.  Such a blessing.

Thank you Meg for orchestrating such a huge project and for booking me in advance!  Let me know when the twins are back because I need a Thompson Twin fix soon.

The Antosek Family {Rowan County Family Photographer}

I was thrilled when I got a call from Amanda in August to shoot her family portrait!  My Gracie and her Katie went to St John's Pre K/Kindergarten at the same time and Amanda's beautiful smile always drew me in.  They showed up looking like they just stepped out of a resort vacation, rested, tan, perfectly styled, and I knew we were going to capture some magic!

Enjoy the Antoseks!

Didn't Amanda do amazingly well on wardrobe?  I just love the lush greens of summer; the turquoise complemented it so well.

How gorgeous are these kids?!!!!!!

Alex looks so Californian to this Californian!  (that's a compliment)  He's a talented golfer but looks like a pro surfer to me.

Nick has those sparkly eyes the camera just loves!  Plus, have you seen this kid play basketball?

And sweet Miss Katie, the scene stealer…..

Of course, you know my love of B&Ws:

And do we like this one better in color or B&W?  Hmmmm……

Amanda and Jody wanted a quick shot too.  Don't they look like newlyweds?!!!
I wish my hubby and I had a great shot of us like this.

I just love this old tree at the Country Club.  Don't they look stunning?

Thank you SO much Antosek's for inviting me to capture your beautiful family.  I thoroughly enjoyed our time together and moving to the golf course for the last shots was brilliant.
Blessings!!!!!
